Fairy Wars Chapter 3

Wish I had something like that to keep me
on track when I'm writing
Hey peeps. I'm back. I know I haven't posted anything in a really long time. I've been too busy editing my story and getting it ready to read. It's ready now, well at least part of it is.
Let's so what was my last post about? It's been so long even I don't remember. Wait, my last post was the Christmas special. I think the post before that was my story. What happened in that part? Let's see... Shawn told Anny that her great-grandmother Clara Bonded with a fairy (If you want to know more about what happened, read this), which makes her and all her female descendants, including Anny, have fairy blood in their veins. Then Shawn tells Anny that he works for a secret organization called IFPA. He tells her that she is the only one who can end the Fairy War.

I stared at Shawn, shocked. How could I be the only one who could stop Dalen? It didn’t make sense. I was just a normal teenage girl, if there even was such a thing. I didn’t know anything about fairies, and I didn’t even have proof that they were real. I just had this strange feeling in my gut that was telling me to trust Shawn, but I wasn’t sure if I trusted that feeling.
“That can’t be right. Why am I the only one who can stop him? Why me?” I argued.
“I’m sorry, Anny. I can’t tell you any more until you agree to help us,” he answered  apologetically. “It’s for your own safety.”
“I can’t agree to help you unless I know why I’m the only one who can.”
Shawn looked at me seriously. “Anny, if I tell you why you need to help us, you’ll become a target for Dalen’s spies. If he sends assassins after you, which he probably will, the only place you’ll be safe is with IFPA. This is dangerous information.”
I laughed. “Assassins? Seriously? You think he’d try to kill me? That’s ridiculous”
“To keep this information safe, yes, I do. Look, I’ll give you three days to decide. If you want to help us, tell your mother you talked to me, and meet me at 1:30 on Saturday. She’ll know where. I need to go.” He stood up to leave. “I hope you come. Just remember, if you don’t do this, the whole fairy kingdom could be destroyed. We need you.” He walked away, leaving me sitting alone in the darkness.
I stood and walked over to the ladder. Before I climbed up, I turned at looked back at the spot where Shawn had disappeared. I stared into the darkness for a few seconds, still not entirely believing everything Shawn had told me. In one night, I had found out that I was part fairy, there was a secret organization who protected fairies, and I was the only one who could save the fairies from a war. It was unbelievable.
I shook my head and climbed up to my room. It was late, and I was tired. I’ll figure out what I’m going to do tomorrow, I thought as I lay down in my bed. I was asleep within seconds.
